House Ošlje

This historic stone house in the coastal hinterland of Dubrovnik is an ideal holiday destination for one or more families who want to escape their daily routine and find the necessary rest and relaxation. The house is through several wonderful terraces connected to the swimming pool where you will spend the most of the hot summer days.
On one of the terraces there is a beautiful stone table covered with natural grapevine. Here you can spend your time in a shady surrounding with one of the best wines of Croatia from the nearby Pelješac region, or just read your favourite book in peace.
A special highlight of the house is the fully equipped "Konoba" (old cellar), which is partly furnished with hand-made furniture and antiques of the more than 450-year-old house. The house is located in a part of the village which is surrounded by beautiful nature, and there are on the enclosed property an olive grove and a vineyard from where you have a unique view of the landscape.
The house itself is just a 5 minutes’ drive from a large sandy beach and in about 15 minutes by car you are able to reach the medieval town of Ston. Ston is known by Europe's longest city wall, as well as the best seafood restaurants in Croatia. For daily excursions you can go to the nearby islands of Pelješac, Mljet and Korčula, as well as in the neighbouring country, to Mostar and Međugorje. Dubrovnik, which is plentiful with numerous of cultural and entertaining facilities, is just a 50-minute drive away. It is the ideal house if you want to experience the charm of nature by listening to the crickets and birds of the surrounding trees, without urban bustle and traffic and at the same time everything else is at your fingertips.
